FONTE FLAVIA'S HISTORY
The mansion is an historical residence, owned by a Roman family since four generations. The estate was bought, originally as a hunting residence.
Livio and Vanna decided to open a part of the mansion to guests, naming this portion of the house “Fonte Flavia” They chose this name in homage to two women very dear to Livio and Vanna: one was Livio’s beloved sister who passed away years ago and the other is Livio and Vanna’s young daughter, called Flavia just like her sweet and gorgeous aunt. The name Flavia is accompanied by the word “Fonte” (natural spring) because there is actually a spring nearby and it is only a few meters away from the Villa. It’s very pleasant and fascinating walking by it as it seems to enter a fairy world.
